Delete your Read4Me account
You can request permanent deletion of your Read4Me account and account-linked data.
Delete from the app
- Open Read4Me and sign in.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
This is the fastest method because it securely verifies the signed-in account.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your Read4Me account. Use the subject “Delete my Read4Me account.” We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account and sign-in profile.
- Cloudflare D1 quota, usage, and request-deduplication records linked to your account.
- Local readings and MP3 files when deletion is completed inside the app.
Local data when requesting by email
A remote request cannot erase files already stored on your device. Delete individual readings in Library, or use Android Settings → Apps → Read4Me → Storage → Clear storage, then uninstall the app if desired.
Timing and exceptions
Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days. Short-lived caches, security logs, and backups may expire later. We may retain limited information when required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or service security.
